A wide range of products fall into this category, many of which require the modeling tool Concerto. Components can include filters, waveguide junctions, couplers and multiplexers as well as larger components such as antennas.

Filter

Both planar and 3D filters can be modeled. Very high precision is required, and special techniques that include the field singularity near metalic corners prove invaluable. Along with the technology within the software, high precision is readily achievable.

Waveguide Components

All types of waveguide component can be modeled. Both planar and 3D devices can be included, or transitions from one to the other. In addition the component can be optimized using the built-in optimizer module.

Antennas

Planer and 3D antennas can be designed using the Concerto software. The Conforming Mesh technology ensures accuracy without needing to add extra elements just to capture a complex geometry. The mesg can be used where it is needed - to ensure the highest accuracy in the solution.

Far field radiation patterns can be displayed, either as polar plots, or as fill 3D displays (giving extra insight into the behavior of the antenna).
